On the go!
Today we had our cardiology check-up with Dr. P. Everything checked out great! Field's sats were SUPER high in the office (88,89) but she was happy with what we were getting when we check them at home lately (84,85). The blood pressure, EKG, and echo all looked fantastic. Woo Hoo! She even took Field off of a heart med and doesn't want to see us until 4 months from now. We did talk about the weight gain issues and she said that she is happy with his growth curve. No, he's not a chunky little baby, but he is definitely growing and his curve has continued upward at a good, steady pace. His percentile on weight is low and his height is average, so as long as he doesn't fall off the curve, we are good. (Did that make any sense at all? Ha!) She also mentioned that being tall and skinny isn't such a bad thing. Agreed!

He's sporting a diaper and shoes, but we couldn't keep him from wanting to walk while waiting on the doctor earlier. And might I add how still and quiet he is being here? He's watching Baby Einstein. :)
I was really proud of the way Brad and I handled the visit. We were at peace the entire time. Usually we are a nervous wreck - maybe a little PTSD from early on when it seemed like we continuously got bad news. We are learning to faithfully put our worries and fears in the Lord's hands and He truly brings so much peace. So grateful to Him and for all of you! Your prayers are very much appreciated.
Have a wonderful weekend!
